So in addition to being the site of improv on Wednesday night, the new chalet at the Geneva Ridge Resort will also be the site of gaming during the con. Now this should be a good thing in that it gives more room for gaming and allows future GaryCons to stay at the resort. On the other hand, the chalet is new and it seems that a shuttle is required to get there from the main hotel. Since some games will be held at the hotel proper, I'm just a bit concerned that some people may not realize that there is a 'second site' for the con if that's where their game is scheduled to be.
Of course, there really is no way to know how things will work out until the convention. Hopefully there will be enough logistics and communications in place to make everything work smoothly.
