D'oh!

Only took me three days to realize that I forgot the second 'R' in wizardry. Which considering the fact that this is a blog about role-playing games, makes me feel like an idiot for not figuring it out until now. Kind of hard to make a clever play on the phrase "weekend warrior" if you can't have the presence of mind to spell a single word correctly.

It's fixed now, but I still feel like a doofus.

  1. Just remember that you're still well ahead of some of the folks we game with who have admitted to not knowing how to spell simple words, such as circle and gnome. (I MIGHT be able to see missing the "g" in gnome, but circle? Really?)

One note passed across the table had an interesting misspelling. I was only able to discern what the writer meant because of context.... Where he meant "braiding" he wrote "breading". Now that I think about it...I'm just glad it didn't say "breeding", because I would have interrupted the game with sudden and uncontrollable laughter.

I get annoyed with myself whenever I feel a twinge of snootiness or superiority, but I think it must be a natural by-product of spending 4+ years dating an English major. (Yes, let's blame it all on the fiancé! Muwahaha!)

At any rate, I could have made this comment much shorter by simply pointing out that you at least noticed and realized the mistake. And that's more than we can say for a lot of people.
