I'm stuck.
62 days into this thing and I've become stuck again. Nothing new is on the horizon. I have to put in for vacation time so I can actually make the convention and buy a plane ticket. On top of that, my neck has been acting up lately as a result of my automobile accident a month ago. An accident from which I am finally getting my car repaired.
Right now, I'm trying to find anything to write about. That's because if I stop writing, chances are I won't restart for quite a while. Part of the reason for this personal challenge was to build up writing momentum so I would keep writing even after things were done. Now I'm sure I will take a break from writing after GaryCon is all done. I might not even do April A-Z again.
I know, you don't read this blog to witness my complaining. I think I just need to vent and hope I can come up with something to talk about tomorrow. Maybe I just need a distraction for a few days. Write about something gaming-related that doesn't have to do with GaryCon directly. I do have a few ideas for stuff for Retro Phaze that I have been meaning to share. Maybe talk about my play-by-post game again. We'll see.
C'mon, don't give up! You're doing so well, and I've really been enjoying these updates.
ReplyDeleteAs far as Gary Con related posts, how about the vendors there? What games are you planning on playing in this year? Tell me about Give Me the Brain which you've mentioned a few times (I've never played). What is the Lodge like (your impressions)? Amusing tales from the table from Gary Con games? How about meeting some of the Old Guard who is there? Compare and contrast Gary Con with another major con you've been to. What's Lake Geneva like (if you've toured it).
